Lake Gardens is a sprawling green oasis amidst the city's concrete jungle, which is perfect for a stroll or a picnic. The KL Bird Park is part of the Lake Gardens, which also includes a Butterfly Park, a Deer Park and an Orchid Garden. The Bird Park and Butterfly Farm are great fun for the entire family. Get a kick out of the largest free-flight aviary with over 200 species of birds.There's nothing quite like standing in the middle of the Bird Park to get a real sense of what it's like to be in their habitat. At the Butterfly Farm, butterflies flutter by and land on everything from your bright colored t-shirts to your backpacks. Be enthralled by the 120 exotic butterfly species and the park's whimsical maze of pathways and secret gardens. Go in the mornings to miss the crowds, and when the birds and butterflies are most active. The Orchid Garden here is beautiful.
