Kuber Asthan is located at a distance of about 9 km from Padrauna, at Kubernath and about 21 km from Kushinagar, in District Kushinagar, U.P. It can be accessed by Kasia-Turkpatti-Padrauna road. Shiva is the main deity of this temple which has been constructed by the King of Padrauna. Monday, Shivratri, 13th day of Falgun & Vaisakh month are considered auspicious when fairs of local importance for one week & for one month respectively are held. People from surrounding areas throng the place during these fairs. As per saying lakhs of Shiv devotees offer Jal (water) to the Shivlinga on Shivratri day.
