Thoughts on a golf course in Drottningholm dating far back, specifically in the 1930s. These thoughts were dismissed, however, by HRH Gustaf V with the words "such a old man's sport"! Two decades later it bloomed again. In 1956, did the architect Anders Tengbom and enthusiasts Herbert Kastengren and Einar Bristedt another attempt to form a new club in Stockholm and now started the snowball rolling.
