The open panoramas of the lakes contrast with the intimacy of the river to give a variety of fishing combined with some of the most wonderful scenery in the country.Kylemore Abbey Fishery provides a wide variety of fishing for all levels. Salmon and sea trout fishing is run for a good part of the year to provide excellent fishing on uncrowded waters. Access to the beats has been improved, new boats and engines have been purchased and new pools and walkways have been constructed. The season starts on 1 February and continues until 30 September.
