Carlos Gardel the godfather of the Tango die in a tragic plane accident on the Olaya Herrera Airport in Medellin anno 1935. At that time the house Located in Barrio Manrique, the Casa Gardeliana was the main tango "place to be" since years figuring hosting tango bands and dance shows. There are still events happening but rarely, the small museum is dedicated to the life of Carlos Gardel and his creation, the Tango. Certainly worth a visit !
