This trattoria continues the Italian "invasion" of Innsbruck. More and more of the townspeople, especially the young, are preferring the lighter and often more flavorful cuisine of Italy than more heavily laden Austrian dishes. This place is especially festive in summer, when action overflows onto a patio and beer garden setting. Fresh fish is always on the menu, and it's grilled and spiced to perfection. There's also an array of succulent homemade pastas, and the pizza oven is kept busy at night. Many guests begin with one of the freshly tossed salads. A selection of veal, poultry, and beef dishes round out the well-chosen menu, which is backed up by a varied wine list and an extensive range of beers.
