Just off North Main Street on Trimmer’s Lane in Wexford Town is La Dolca Vita, run by Roberto and Celine Pons. The restaurant’s seriously tempting menu in Italian with English translations, include home-made Italian bread with oil, fresh soup of the day, or risotto of the day. Excellent salads are offered and a range of pasta dishes,also it has some more serious dishes, like grilled sea bass with salmoriglio dressing and Italian sausage with lentils. Don’t leave without tasting at least one of Roberto’s lovely desserts, a perfect panna cotta, orange and lemon tart, a classic tiramisu, with a really good coffee,or leisurely enjoy a selection of delectable Italian cheeses and hams, fragrant wines and good company.Early Bird and special offers available.
