La France Cafe and Restaurant

From its humble beginnings as a stall in a food court selling French meals, La France has since made its way to the heart of George Town, boasting a cosy outlet along Jalan Irrawadi. The highlights of its menu include the croques monsieur (oven baked ciabatta with various toppings), the aglio olio with extra virgin oil and the crepes Suzette; and despite what its name may indicate, La France also serves an array of German fare. From the beverage menu, the espresso-based coffees of La France boast a distinctively French taste; and it also serves the renowned French lager beer, Kronenbourg 1664.
