White pines line the fairways as the course wends it's way through woods and lagoons. It is the home of the Women's Western Amateur Championship and part of the Grand Hotel Resort. The 18-hole "Dogwood" course at the Lakewood Golf Club facility in Point Clear, Alabama features 7,063 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 72.6 and it has a slope rating of 124 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Perry Maxwell, ASGCA/Joseph L. Lee Bobby Vaughn, the Dogwood golf course opened in 2004. SunBelt Golf Corporation manages this facility.
