If you want to eat authentic Japanese cuisine, make sure the ingredients are right. And that is what Laughing Buddha, the only devoted Japanese restaurant in Port of Spain, does. Chef Ming makes sure all that he puts in his dishes are imported straight from Japan, that makes his traditional Japanese and showy sushi and maki dishes a treat to eat. The dining halls can only be called lavish and the pricing is fair enough. That certainly puts a smile on your face. Open Monday to Saturday 11:30am.
