Lawcus Farm Guesthouse is a working organic farm situated on the outskirts of Kilkenny between the medieval villages of Kells and Stoneyford. One can walk from Lawcus Farm Guesthouse along cut grass paths to the Kings River where you will encounter a myriad of wildlife. Wild flowers decorate the river banks and during the winter months salmon can often be seen in the pools below the house. Sometimes you can watch the salmon and trout jump the weir on their journey up-stream to spawn. Lawcus Farm Guesthouse offers bed and breakfast accomodation in five rooms. Three rooms are split level, with separate living and dining areas. Each of the rooms are refurbished to the highest standard. Breakfasts at Lawcus Farm Guesthouse are prepared using organic ingredients from their own 20 acre farm. Dinners can be provided by prior arrangement.The sitting room has a wonderful original inglenook fire place where you can sit and enjoy a read, listen music or just chat with family and friends.Mark and Ann-Marie can organise adventurous walks in the surrounding countryside, where you can explore mountains, castles and waterfalls. The village pubs of Stoneyford are friendly offering traditional music in a cosy atmosphere. A working water mill, motte and bailey and the famous Kells Priory are all within walking distance.
