Lee Park Golf Club was founded in the early 50's, as at that time it was extremely difficult for Jewish golfers to obtain admission to a private golf club. Consequently a group of enthusiastic Founders managed to find some land and, together with the local Jewish community, many of whom were non-golfers, purchased shares in our Club to enable the land to be bought.
