Leroy's

District XIII Cuisines: American

About

Long-established Leroy's used to be a bar serving food, but now it has re-invented itself as a restaurant that serves beer. A little way off the main street, it still consistently attracts a crowd. The decor is a mixture of wood furnishings, a weathered floor, yellow lighting, ceiling fans and whitewashed brick walls covered with old advertising posters for products such as 'RC Cola', 'Old Dutch Cleaner' and 'Foot High Vegetables'.The menu comes in four languages and the clientele includes many people in business suits, as well as middle-aged couples and young trendy yuppies. Expect American food such as chicken wings, Caesar salad, ribs and burgers. Most people come here for the steaks that come in different weights. Lighter meals include grilled poultry. Beer is the best thing to drink here.
