Lidia Mattichhio Bastianich, star of PBS's "Lidia's Italian Table," has a restaurant on the Strip. Lidia's Pittsburgh serves her "border" cuisine: a mix of northern Italian, Slavic and Austro-Hungarian dishes. Lidia's chef, Christopher Juliano comes to the Steel City from the award-winning Babbo Restaurant in Manhattan. The menu includes fricos, Osso Bucco Milanese, and zuppa di pesce. There is full bar service. Smoking is allowed only at the bar. See website for menus, wine list, $20 Wine List (for the budget conscious), and info on other locations and the entire Lidia empire.
