Red House is a seafood restaurant specialising in Asian seafood dishes and Singaporean favorites. Beginning as a single restaurant in a colonial house on Upper East Coast Road, it was literally located within a "Red House" and differentiated itself from other seafood places through red lanterns which decorated the exteriors.
Overtime, customers began to identify Red House by the lanterns, which signifies light and a positive spirit to commemorate reunions. Comprising two bowls with rice in the middle, the Red House logo alludes to families or friends gathering around a table for a meal and how food brings people closer together.
