The Liwan Museum is an integrated museum collecting, displaying and studying objects relating to Xiguan's history, culture and customs. It stands on the site of the former residence of Mr. Chen Qianzhong, a comprador for the Guangzhou branch of the HSBC in the early Republic of China period.
