Longtan Park is situated at southeast 2nd Ring and southeast of Guangming Bridge. Longtan Park was built at 1952, covering an area of 49.2 hectares, and the water covers an area of 19.47 hectares. Because it shaped the terrain of dragon head and tail with Longxugou, it was named as Longtan Lake. In park, you will enjoy the bright scenery and rich cultural connotation. Longtan Park is not far from Temple of Heaven, so you can walk to Longtan Park from Temple of Heaven along with the road.

Longtan Park had rebuilt several times, and built Dragon Pond, Stone Forest, Dragon Door, Longyin Pavilion, Wanliutang, Liantanghuayu, Central Island, etc. Scenic spots in Longtan Park have their characteristics and different from each other. Longtan Park is a new city park, combined with northern classic architecture art and modern park art, and extrudes the Chinese traditional culture of dragon.
