Lotte World Ice Rink

About

The Disneyland of Seoul (complete with the requisite "Magic Castle"), Lotte World is a huge amusement park with both indoor and outdoor facilities. It has a variety of rides (the main attractions), an ice-skating rink, a swimming pool, and a folk museum. Be forewarned: The biggest crowds come on Friday and Saturday night when you may have to wait in line up to 2 hours just to get on a ride. If you plan on spending a day here -- and there's more than enough to keep you occupied -- it may be more economical to get a passport ticket, which gives you access to all facilities except for the carnival games, which require fees per play. Alternately, you can visit after 5pm and get discounted night admission or night passport. The less expensive moonlight pass is for guests who enter after 7pm, but you can only ride three rides for free.
