The Mao Zedong's Former Residence(simplified Chinese: 毛泽东故居; traditional Chinese: 毛澤東故居; pinyin: Máo Zédōng Gùjū) built in the late Qing Dynasty, it is located in Shaoshan Village, Shaoshan Countryside, Shaoshan City, Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China (韶山市韶山乡韶山村).It has a building area of about 472.92 square meters, embodies buildings such as the old houses (故居老屋), the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall (毛泽东纪念馆), the statue of Mao Zedong (毛泽东铜像), the Cultural relics Exhibition Hall (文物展览馆), Dishui Hole (滴水洞).[1]
