Mar Gregorios Orthodox Church called "Parumala of the North" is a major pilgrimage centre in Northern India since the holy relics of Parumala Thirumeni is installed in 1985; The existing church was built in the end of seventies and having more than 650 families at present. The Church has given a lot of prayerful consideration to what God would have us do in the future. People from every religion can come and find solace in this place now.This is a growing church, so we're concerned about having a good, attractive and peaceful place for worship. After long wait, the Parish assembly has decided to do a long expansion and renovation to accommodate more people inside the church on worship time with an atmosphere that was more reflective of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church tradition.
