Marché Victor Hugo

cours Victor-Hugo

About

Situated on the ground floor of the Victor Hugo parking lot, just a stone's throw from the Aquitaine Museum and Place Pey-Berland, this market is perfectly in keeping with the locality. Very cosmopolitan in style, it draws in crowds of locals every day, coming to take their pick of the fresh fruit and vegetables, high quality meats and fish fresh from the Arcachon Basin caught only the previous night. The pleasantly lively atmosphere ripples round the stalls as the locals stroll on by. Saturday mornings are busiest and best.
