Mater Matuta

Via Benedetto Croce, No. 38

About

Half-hidden in the courtyard of an aristocratic palace, this jewel shop is located in the central area of Spaccanapoli, well-known for its typical trattoria and craftsman's shops. It takes its name after Mater Matuta, the ancient Italian goddess of Dawn. The shop deals with accessories, interior design, and handmade jewels. All are created in the lab/store or designed by other creative Italian jewelry artists. Coral, semi-precious stones, blown glass and mother of pearl, among others, are the materials used to manufacture the jewelry work and other adornments.
