This "A" categorized bus stand, is the second largest bus terminus in Tamil Nadu. Being located on the outskirts of Madurai city, the terminus has 8 platforms with 12 bays for every platforms to handle more number of mofussil buses. The terminus is utilised by TNSTC, SETC, Kerala State Road Transport Corporation and Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation.
