This delightful stone walled, thatched building, set among the drumlins of east Cavan in Cootehill, is a charming location for a cultural tourism and business centre. Display boards and a superb 20 minute audio visual interpret the landscape and history of this area.One of the earliest court tombs in Ireland lies close by. A qualified tour guide can accompany a tour group to this site, where you can walk and view 600 years of Irish history. The Maudabawn Cultural Centre organises school visits and seminars on heritage related topics.
