Maumeen Cottage is a charming, renovated, stone cottage, on the shore of Maumeen lake. It is surrounded by two acres of spacious, well maintained gardens. There is a large open fireplace in the lounge, with turf provided free of charge. The property boasts four bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and shower and separate bathroom with WC and wash basin. The cottage overlooks Maumeen Lake with uninterrupted views of Connemara Mountains. A rowing boat is available on the lake from a private pier. Situated in the most beautiful part of Connemara, 8km from Roundstone, there are secluded beaches within a short walking distance of the cottage. Encircled by the sea, mountains, streams and moorland, it is the ideal place to relax and enjoy a wide range of outdoor pursuits, including golf, trout and salmon fishing, sea angling, horse riding, aqua sports and walking, to name but a few.
