Meda Wasala is a part of the old royal palace complex in Kandy, once used as living quarters by Kandyan kings. Today, it reflects the royal lifestyle and history of the Kandyan Kingdom.

Meda Wasala is  a historically significant building located within the Kandy Royal Palace complex in Sri Lanka, near the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic . It served as a residence for close relatives of the Kandyan kings and is known for its traditional Kandyan architecture, featuring carved wooden pillars and ancient murals, often referred to as the Queen's chambers or related to the queen's residence.
