You can't leave Guayaquil without visiting this place, you have the view of the whole city!!! You can take a taxi from Malecon and take Julian Coronel street until you get to Hospital Luis Vernaza's pont and then you turn rigth and keep going over the hill, until you see the Giant Jesus statue.
