Mongolian Barbeque

Stormgade 35 Cuisines: Chinese, Asian

About

This was the first Mongolian restaurant in Scandinavia, located near the Town Hall Square. The restaurant's specialty (and only choice) is a buffet with a selection of Mongolian specialties. This special food was, according to the restaurant, served exclusively for Genghis Khan, his soldiers and the Royal Family. That was 800 years ago; later the dishes became available for everyone else. The restaurant has room for about 100 guests and is decorated with Mongolian stoneware figures and paintings. Every table is covered with a red cloth and has a bottle of soy sauce. The buffet consists of short loin of Beef, Pork, Chicken and Lamb, plus a large choice of Vegetables, Oils and Spices. You choose what you want, and the chef prepares it in a matter of minutes.
