Montazah Palace and Gardens

It was built in the 1900 by Abbas 2, the lastkhedive of Egypt, as a summer residence. The palace also became the official presidential residence, thus the palace itself is not open to the public, but the garden, five beaches and other facilities surrounding the place is open to its visitors. The garden containsvariety of trees, plants, flowers and some of which are very rare to find in other countries.
