Morning Ragas bring a breath of fresh air to Delhi's classical music scene. These concerts take place for two hours every Sunday under a huge towering tree, amidst Nehru Park's expansive gardens. The dates and timings are advertised promptly in all major newspapers. It provides a unique opportunity to experience the performance of India's gifted musicians, such as vocalists Bhimsen Joshi and Kishori Amonkar, flute player Hari Prasad Churasia, sarod player Amjad Ali Khan, et cetera. It usually begins at 5 am.
