Muelle del Plata

Costanera Norte Avenida Cuisines: American

About

Muelle del Plata is unique in many senses. But the most important one is that it has the best view in the city. It is set in the Club de Pescadores (Fishermen Club) which is a hundred meters away from the shore into the river! The club/restaurant is a replica of a manor in Belgium and the pier was for many decades the longest in Latin America. There is no better experience than having lunch on a sunny spring weekend on their wonderful terrace as you see the boats. Chef Carlos Godoy is probably one of the best in town too. Ask for any of his fish dishes like Langostinos Crocantes, Merluza Negra, or if the weather is a little bit colder Cazuela. Also highly recommended are any of their spectacular white wines. -Ignacio Casais
