When you are in Crans Montana and you mingle with the locals, you have the chance to have a glass of fendent with them, you can hear them talking about how life has changed since they were children. I am sure you can find a bit of time and drive 10 minutes to reach the commune of Lens. A very well designed itinerary shows you the different houses, the grange, the mazot and if you have the brochure (available in the tourist office) which explains the history of each building, you can complete your knowledge by visiting the museum thus learning more about the tradition and habits of the locals. I bet you will look at this area with different eyes!!!!
