Found within the confines of Santiago Cathedral, Museo de Arte Sagrado has a quite charming atmosphere, imbued with an aroma of old churches and a sense of deep tranquility. Spread across three exhibition rooms, the display includes objects used in the Eucharist, religious imagery, documents and adornments, along with gold and silversmithing from colonial times to the present day. Access to the museum is via the cathedral, and it is only open to visitors on Mondays.
