he Narayanpur Dam is located in Gulbarga District of Karnataka. It involved the construction of an earthen dam which involved 9,00,000 cu.m. of embankment, non-overflow masonry dam, 25 blocks of main spillway and 5 blocks of additional spillway. In addition 2,50,000 cu.m. of pre-chilled concrete were poured. A creditable achievement was casting of the deck slab for the bridge at a rate of one span per week.
