This man made wetland recycles storm water from the town. The aim of the Narrandera Wetlands is to receive the town's stormwater and through various physical and biological treatment processes, improve the quality of the water entering the Murrumbidgee River, whilst providing a haven for waterbirds and associated flora and fauna.
