Railroad history comes to life with over 70 pieces of vintage rolling stock including Eisenhower's WWII command train, the Union Pacific "Big Boy" and the Rock Island "Aerotrain." Enjoy a 25-minute train ride tour of the museum's 33 acres, behind a vintage diesel locomotive. Along the way, the conductor describes various rolling stock, points out highlights of the museum, talks about railroad safety and the hobo culture. Video presentations and special events.Open year-round, Mon-Sat 9am-5pm, Sun 11am-5pm but closed Mondays Jan-Apr. Train rides daily May-Sept & weekends in Oct. Train ride tickets must be purchased with a Museum admission.Located four blocks east of the intersection of Hwy 32 and Cormier Rd.
