Naukana

Fresia 236 Cuisines: Asian

About

A trendsetter since it opened in 2001, Naukana offers a menu that spans the Spice Route from Arabia to Japan. The plates are small and meant for sharing over drinks. Vietnamese spring rolls, pad Thai, kebabs, and tempura are a great way to start the night off, and their Tibetan salmon in a sauce of cilantro, coconut, and peanut is a fine entree. There are decent vegetarian offerings too. Dark wood floors, walls, and furniture paired with contemporary art and splashes of deep red and candlelight lend the restaurant a romantic, almost woodsy vibe. There's a satellite restaurant in Santiago.
