New Indonesian Restaurant(Warung Chandra) offers the ambience of a rustic canteen though its serves up freshly cooked, authentic Indonesian meals and offers a wide array of Indonesian packaged foods and beverages for sale. Patronized largely by Hong Kong's Indonesian workforce, this restaurant which is run by two sisters from Jakarta has a menu that offers substantial Indonesian set meals like Nasi Campur (a meal of rice, meats, vegetables and prawn crackers), Gado Gado (an Indonesian salad served with peanut sauce) and Beef Rendang with rice. These wholesome, flavorful meals are reasonably priced so as to meet the needs of the restaurant's main clientele, though the restaurant also sells some traditional Indonesian treats like Kuehs (flavored rice flour deserts) and Kek Lapis (Indonesian layer cake). -Anjeeta Nayar
