New York Steakhouse is one of the best new restaurants in Doha. They seem to have found the perfect balance of attentive, friendly service, without being annoyingly ever present. There's a good selection of starters, steaks, sides, entrees, deserts and a few other mains if you're not a steak eater. The foie gras / mango appetizer was exquisite, a perfect match of flavors you rarely find in Doha. Although the desert menu is modest, our favorite was the unique selection of home made ice creams and sorbets that are the perfect finish to a dinner.
