Newman's, at the beginning of the CalAve district south of downtown, serves both breakfast and lunch. Their menu includes a plethora of fresh salads including Cobb and Chicken Florentine, grilled sandwiches like Pastrami and Tuna Melt and cold deli sandwiches like BLT and a few veggie options. Breakfast includes various omelets, bagels, breakfast sandwiches and hot coffee and tea.
