The historic Durbar is wonderful - apart from the lack of preservation, the presence of armed soldiers in sandbag emplacements... and the seeming absence of much managementGrand sample of Nepali aristocracy, but this place needs attention and a museum inside should be a great addition. Nuwakot Bazaar is also a lovely, unspoilt place with friendly people and beautiful.
