Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine at Perambur, Chennai is a replica of the Basilica at Lourdes in France with its majestic appearance and high pinnacles. The nucleus of this Marian Shrine took shape in 1880 AD. In 1903 AD it was made a parish due to the growing Catholic population.
