The Rodin Museum Bahia , also called the Palace of Arts Rodin Bahia , is a museum of Bahia located in soteropolitano neighborhood of Graça . The first and second floor of the museum are dedicated to the collections of the sculptor French Auguste Rodin . 1 2
The museum was installed in the premises of the Palace Honorable Bernardo Martins Catharino , also called Commander Catharino Palace and Palace Martins Catharino in Salvador . 3 The idealization responsible for the museum's artist Bahia Emanoel Araújo, coordinator of the exhibition Rodin and former director the Pinacoteca de São Paulo , in partnership with the director of the Paris Rodin Museum Jacques Vilain. 3 4 The museum has strengthened ties artistic and cultural between France and the Bahia and became one of the three major vectors of fine arts in Bahia, side of the MAB and MAM-BA
