Join the family fun of the annual Palmerston Festival. Each year the community celebrates the township of Palmerston's birthday with a festival that includes entertainment, activities and free concerts. In 2013 the 17th festival will include night markets and outdoor concerts by local and national acts in Goyder Square, roving performers, and events, activities and entertainment for kids. There will be something for everyone, with the community and council of Palmerston, all joining in to help make this festival one to remember. One of the fastest growing cities in Australia', the City of Palmerston is a short 25-minute drive from Darwin, the capital city of the Northern Territory.
