Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort upgraded the grass on the award-winning George Fazio Golf Course. The TifDwarf Bermudagrass was replaced with a more shade-tolerant, state-of-the-art Diamond Zoysia grass, which promotes superior and consistent year-round playing conditions for golfers. The new grass provides a more consistent experience across all 19 greens, (18 holes and 1 practice green), year-round. The grass conversion was completed mid-March 2010.
