The Municipal Mangabeiras Park is a park in the city of Belo Horizonte . Is located in the Sierra Corral , south of the city, and the northern boundary of the Iron Quadrangle. It opened in 1982 and has 2,350,000 m⊃2; fully fenced.The Mangabeiras Park is the largest green area in the state capital and one of the largest urban parks in Latin America . With its 337 acres and more than 2 million square meters, is located in the Sierra Corral. The park is set to local preservation and environmental research open to the public.
