Petaling Street is a Chinatown located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is infamous for pirated clothes and accessories along with bootleg DVDs and CDs. The area has dozens of restaurants and food stalls, serving local favourites such as  Hokkien mee ,  ikan bakar  (barbecued fish),  asam laksa  and  curry noodles . Traders here are mainly  Chinese  but there are also  Indian ,  Malay , and  Bangladeshi  traders.

This famous street segregated into Jalan Pudu and Jalan Sultan,Its very busy market, full of stalls from every direction,you will get all kind of Stuff like T-shirts, bags and clothing , Be care full so many people report issues with pick pockets here.There are lot of vendors with colorful foods, I had my best meal in this area, after some great shopping,Its a Great area to explor." - By Priti Kumari, 27 Aug 2013
