The economic in Port Said is based on fishing and other industries such as chemicals, processed food, cigarettes, and clothes factories, and across the canal you will find Port Fouad, which is the twin city of port Said, where there are many market that one can enjoy stroll around. Port Said city, Egypt, has suffered from a lot of damage during the Suez Canal crisis, thus it also survived the wars of 1967 and 1973, now Port Said, Egypt, is considered a summer resort that Egyptians enjoy going to, in addition it has the most amazing markets that you can find in all Egypt.
