Step inside the Pump Room and you will be instantly transported to a bygone era. Situated next to the Roman Baths and just across from Bath Abbey, you would be forgiven for expecting to find Jane Austen enjoying high tea in the Pump Room of an afternoon. With its stunning chandeliers, opulent use of gilt and in-house pianist, this is 18th century decadence at its finest.
