This 18-hole Gary Player-designed course was built in 1999, before the anti-government protests drew attention to the country formerly known as Burma. The course was built over a former paddy near the confluence of the Hlaing and Pun Hlaing rivers, 45 minutes northwest of the Yangon CBD in a luxury residential community. Pun Hlaing has hosted the Myanmar Masters, part of the Asian Developmental Tour.
